Get Started in Conference Speaking

Sponsorship is available for a FIRST TIME PRESENTER at the NJMCA ANNUAL MEETING.

The sponsorship will cover a 3-night hotel stay at the Golden Nugget, Atlantic City during the 2024 NJMCA Annual Meeting (March 20-March 22, 2024.) Meeting registration must be paid by individual or their supporting agency.


Sponsorship recipients will be based on Call for Papers, Application and Abstract. A selection will be made by Program Committee Members. Recipients will be notified by January 4, 2024.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a first-time presenter at the NJMCA ANNUAL MEETING
  • Must provide an acceptable abstract for a 5- or 15-minute presentation that can be given during the county talks – Get Started in Conference Speaking Symposium.  
  • Presentation must be a benefit to the mosquito control community and highlight a topic from the individual’s county. 
  • A Call for Papers, abstract, and this Application must be submitted by December 20, 2023, to be considered.
  • Must be a NJ County Employee.

By signing this application, if awarded the overnight accommodations, you are agreeing to attend the NJMCA 2024 Annual Meeting in its entirety and agreeing to speak during the Get Started in Conference Speaking Symposium.  Registration for the Annual Meeting is not covered by this sponsorship.
