Your Event at the Shabazz Center
Thank you for your interest in The Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center at the Audubon Ballroom, located at 3940 Broadway, between West 165th and 166th Streets.  This historic New York landmark is a memorial to Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz’s legacy, and serves as a location for programming and events that further their work in human rights and social justice.  

We welcome events that align with our mission, and are in the areas of education, community empowerment, and cultural enrichment.

Consisting of approximately 5,500 square feet of open space, the Shabazz Center at the the Audubon Ballroom is designed to host a maximum capacity of 245 visitors in a variety of configurations.  To explore renting the Shabazz Center for an event, please complete the form below, and someone from the center will be in contact with you.
