What is Focusing?

Focusing is a mode of paying attention to the inner body of the body, and it is also the inner concern that most people will ignore/not recognise.

Focusing teach us how to stop continuing the current life issues and create a space for new possibilities to happen. This method also teaches us how to pay attention in an open manner. This attention is a direct experience, not words or language.

Focusing can solve any form of obstruction. This is a method "to make the implicit content clear and definite, so that vague language can be clearly expressed and defined." Your body knows the overall situation of each of your situations -- broader and more angled than thinking. The consciousness of life is the beginning of the moment that stops...

Focusing takes some concrete steps to let people get physical sensations from life issues, and this physical sensation is not clear and vague at the beginning, but through focusing, this physical sensation will be opened up into words/pictures/sound...etc, and let the client experience the transformation that takes place in the body.

Focusing is used in counseling, which is particularly effective for children and adolescents' self-awareness; for adults, it can improve the self-awareness of individuals through the perception of the body, and handling traumatic body memories is the preferred technique.
