THE SHOOT
* The session includes a 30min shoot on location in the canola fields outside Durbanville.
* The payment of the R850 fee will secure your booking. If the payment hasn't been made 24 hours prior to the shoot, the booked date will be forfeited and a new date has to be scheduled.
* 30 High resolution, print-ready files are included in the package.
* Within 2 weeks after the shoot, you'll receive a link to a gallery to download your photos.
* There'll be more than 30 photos to choose from.
* Additional photos can be purchased at R30 per photo or R100 for 4.
* Prints can be ordered at R5 per photo (if you've bought the digital file) or R20 per photo (if you didn't buy the digital file).
* Postage/courier fees of printed products are not included in the package; this is for the clients own account. Prints can be collected as well.
GENERAL
* 30 minutes go by quickly. Ensure that you are 5 minutes early so that we can start on time.
* Clients who arrive late at the shoot, risk the possibility of not receiving the specified amount of photos.
* Additional 30min can be booked at R750 per 30min (incl. 30 extra images per 30min).
* If Janitha arrives late, she will still take photos for the specified time at no extra cost.
* The shoot will only be rescheduled in case of extreme weather conditions or illness, including Covid-19 symptoms.
* If, in the opinion of the photographer, bad weather or other adverse conditions prevent the photo shoot from happening, the photographer may elect to use an alternate date to reschedule the shoot. This will be communicated in advance.
* Cape Town weather is never guaranteed to be correct according to the weather predictions. Although the shoot is scheduled around sunset times, a golden sunset cannot be guaranteed. BUT cloudy weather makes for great photos as well.
* Should the shoot be rescheduled to a time after the canola has been harvested due to any of the cases stated above, the shoot might take place at another location due to the seasonality of canola.
* Janitha Photography does not offer extensive editing or digital manipulation. We provide basic retouching of images. No RAW format images will be handed to the client.
* The composition and editing style remains the art of the photographer, as seen in the photographer’s portfolio. Selective black and white images will be included at Janitha Photography’s discretion.
* Janitha Photography retains copyright of all images. No unauthorized use is allowed. Janitha Photography reserves the right to use any pictures taken by Janitha Photography for promotional, marketing or any other purpose, in any format, without any reservations. Janitha will however respect the client's wishes if they do not want their images posted online, but it has to be specified in an email response to Janitha.
* Janitha Photography makes use of a double backup system to ensure that the client’s precious photographs are kept safe. In the unlikely event of theft, accident or malfunction of software and all images are damaged or lost, the client will receive a full refund OR another shoot will be scheduled.
* The client has appointed Janitha on his / her own risk and cannot hold Janitha liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred by the client during the photoshoot.
