Bhangra in the Heights 2020
Please fill out this form to indicate your team's interest in performing at Bhangra in the Heights XIII by Thursday, December 19th, 2019, along with a non-refundable deposit of $30 via Venmo to @AnanyaChakravarthy with the caption "Bhangra in the Heights 13 Application Fee" and your team name. For accepted teams, this amount will be applied toward your registration fee. Once we receive all applications, we will review them and reach out to selected teams by Monday, December 30, 2019. The show will be held at Roone Arledge Auditorium, Columbia University in New York, NY on Saturday, February 29th, 2020. Email bhangra@columbia.edu with any questions you may have. Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot in the show for Bhangra in the Heights XIII. After the deadline for teams to report interest in performing, Columbia Bhangra will select a lineup and notify teams as to whether or not they have been offered a spot in the lineup or waitlist. If a team is offered a spot and wishes to accept, there will be a fee required to secure the spot. Performances must be a minimum of 6 minutes and there must be a minimum of 8 dancers in full Vardi (this does not include any instrumentalists). More details will be provided to selected teams once they have accepted their spot in the lineup for Bhangra in the Heights XIII. We look forward to receiving your responses!
