County of San Mateo’s Surplus Property Program: Reuse Request Form

The County of San Mateo's Surplus Property Program beneficially reuses surplus equipment from County departments such as furniture, office supplies, and much more. County of San Mateo Departments, cities, schools, partner agencies, and local non-profit organizations may request surplus property FREE OF CHARGE. 

Please submit this Reuse Request Form for desired surplus property, and we will contact you if the requested item becomes available. Visit our website to learn about our program and to view the listings of all available surplus property.

Your organization is responsible for the removal, packing, loading, and transportation of the item.

To confirm the status of your nonprofit, we require a copy of your organization’s W-9 for the current year to verify 501c(3) tax-exempt status. Please email it to OOS_surplus@smcgov.org. The County of San Mateo will only donate equipment to organizations that provide their W-9.
