Job responsibilities for an Insurance sales representative in Ilupeju:

Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them.

Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones.

Persuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and to meet to discuss insurance products.

Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.

Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients.

Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain the benefits and risks of the policy.

Re-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events.

Fill out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports.

Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.

Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records.

Fulfil all company-established policy obligations.


Requirements and skills:

Good comprehension of insurance plans, including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.

Experience as an Insurance Sales Representative is a plus.

Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret common statistical findings.
Goal-oriented.

Resilient spirit and a persistent nature.

Well organized with time, great management abilities.

Impeccable interpersonal skills and friendly attitude.

Excellent skills in communication and presentation.

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships.

HND or BSc degree.
