Workshop Description: Human Subject Research (IRB) is defined as activities in which information is obtained about a living person through the means of surveys, interviews, observation and/or experimentation. Graduate student’s collecting data with human subjects for their thesis, dissertation, or project must apply for and receive IRB approval before conducting research. This workshop will focus on the IRB process at CSUN, walk students through the application process and address the timeline for IRB approval.
