BEAM Nominations for 2021-22 Executive Board
Thank you for being a part of the Bilingual/ESL Education Association of the Metroplex! It is that time of year to nominate those you would like to see lead our organization for the 2021-22 membership year.  BEAM has been instrumental in creating change at the state and local level and we would like the organization to continue to advocate for all stakeholders in the DFW Metroplex.  

Only current BEAM members may submit nominations. All nominations must be current BEAM members and must have agreed to take the charge if they win the election.  BEAM will check for approval from all names submitted before placing them on the ballot.  We will only accept names if contact information is included.

Nominations will be accepted now until April 30th.  Voting will begin on May 1st and continue until May 30th. Our elected officers will be announced at the Summer 2021 Installation Ceremony.

Vice President (This person will serve on the Executive year term: 2021-2022 and 2022-2023)
The Vice-President shall be the chairperson of the Membership Committee and shall; 1) keep and make available an accurate up-to-date list of BEAM members; 2) assist in the recruitment, organizing, development and training of local affiliates; submit a written report at the annual conference and at the end of the term report to the President. -----Enter NAME, DISTRICT/ORGANIZATION, and EMAIL of person being nominated.
Secretary (This person will serve on the Executive year term: 2021-2022 and 2022-2023)
The Secretary shall keep accurate written records of the proceedings of all business meetings of the Association.  These records shall include, but are not limited to minutes, agendas, and correspondence. The Secretary shall preserve all records in a permanent file, conduct Association correspondence, and perform other duties as required by the President.  Keep roll of members present at the meetings.  Carry on any necessary correspondence of the Association.  Notify members of meetings.   -----Enter NAME, DISTRICT/ORGANIZATION, and EMAIL of person being nominated.
