Hello and welcome to Big Heavy World! We are so happy you are interested in working with us. Please be aware that this is an application for both interns for college credit AND volunteers. We have a limited number of intern spots, but if our intern positions are full or you are not looking for college credits, please feel free to fill out this form as a volunteer--we're always open to help from enthusiastic community members!

All interns and volunteers must indicate a first and second choice for the main position in which you are interested. If all positions are filled for both first and second choices of a project, we may still extend an offer of internship/volunteer work on other available projects. Interns must also pick an outreach project.

Attend an event as a representative of BHW (college career fairs, conference for the arts, etc)

Write and record a radio script to promote ongoing programs

Do you have any accommodations or working preferences for your time with BHW? Ex. Preferring email over in person conversation (As we are a small, volunteer-run organization, we may not always be able to fulfill all accommodations, but we will always try our best to make crew feel comfortable and appreciated to the best of our ability!
