If you are attending the Science Writers conference virtually and would like to apply to reserve a spot at the Pitch Slam, just fill out the form below. We'll also be taking in-person pitchers in a first-come-first-served basis during the event. At the session, pitchers will have 60 seconds to pitch one idea to a panel of four editors, who will provide feedback for you and a live audience.

The deadline to apply in advance is September 25. We'll let you know if your pitch is chosen by September 30.
