The Fitchburg State University Police Department is dedicated to improving the quality of policing at Fitchburg State. When an officer or dispatcher provides exceptional service beyond the normal call of duty, the department may formally recognize those efforts. Please use the form below, or call the Chief of Police at 978-665-3590, if you would like to recommend an officer for commendation.

Public acknowledgement of a job well done is a positive reinforcement for officer morale, and an important part of the relationship between police and the communities they serve. The Department will share this information to the individual and the Police Department to acknowledge their service that was commendable as well as to reinforce the level of service expected of the department.
