Summer Learning Student Application
Humboldt City Schools is committed to providing learning opportunities for our students during the summer. Students across the state have experienced gaps in learning because of the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, school closures, quarantine, and in some cases the challenges associated with hybrid and in-person learning opportunities.

As a result, the Department of Education has partnered with school districts across the state to offer summer learning camps for Grades 1 – 8th grade. HCS will be hosting Summer School for grades 9 -12th to ensure our high school students have the academic support they need as they prepare for graduation requirements.

These camps will focus on foundational skills in reading, and math with an additional hour of support in RTI and a special learning time designated as STREAM (science, technology, reading, art, and math). We are to offer this academic learning experience for our summer learners. Please complete the form below and we look forward to seeing your child this summer.
