Dear GLOBE member!

GLOBE Estonia is pleased to announce GLOBE Regional Learning Expedition (GRLE) 2022 in Käsmu, Lainela Holiday Village, on 2-5 August 2022. To participate, please fill in the registration form below.

This year we expect up to 170 participants from Estonia and abroad. Over the course of four days we will learn how to collect data using GLOBE protocols, participate in an outdoor expedition and present the results of our exploration. What is more, there will be interesting presentations from NASA scientists. In the evenings, participants can expect joint activities. The main focus of GRLE 2022 is land cover and climate change.

There is no limit to the number of participants from one school, but we can only guarantee spots for the first teacher and the first four students who have registered.
Participation fee for GLOBE Estonia students, teachers and active GLOBE Estonia network members is 50 EUR.  
Participation fee for GLOBE Estonia students, teachers and inactive GLOBE Estonia network members is 75 EUR.
Participation fee for students, teachers, and guests from a foreign/international school is 195 EUR.

We will follow all national COVID-19 guidelines in conducting the expedition and will make changes to the event and program accordingly.

We kindly encourage you to involve also Ukrainian students in your country!

Learning sessions will be in groups of maximum of 10.
Expedition groups will have a maximum of 10 participants.

- Age limit: 12 and above
- Please present your COVID certificate.
- All participants will be tested upon arrival.

Participation fee includes all costs:
- meals
- accommodation
- transport from Tallinn to the venue
- all materials
