Join us for a short procession (1-2 miles walking at most). During the procession we will stop at some logical place (town square, etc.) and hold a short concert and/or serve a short moleben. We will provide a traditional Orthodox witness to our communities: we will have information about Orthodox Christianity available for those who are interested, and talk to those who would like to learn more. Don’t miss this great opportunity to bring our faith to our local communities! If you would like to take part in the Cross Processions please reach out to Anri Sorel at anrisorel@protonmail.com or 734-355-4338. All are welcome! Details: coming soon! Sign up below and we'll reach out with more of these details.
Recommended to bring: bottled water, sun hat, sun screen, etc. Or, since it is January, appropriate winter clothes.
You do not have to dress in your Sunday best, although you are welcome to. If you wear something else please dress appropriately, with the understanding that you will be representing Orthodox Christianity to the world at this event.
We need volunteers! Video. First Aid. Literature distribution. Please see below.
St. Vladimir's will provide: icons, banners, cross, lantern, etc. You are welcome to bring icons to carry at the procession as well. St. Vladimir's will also provide Orthodox literature to pass out at the even to those who are interested.
Choir: please contact Julia to volunteer to sing at this event.
