What is CATY?

Climate Advocacy Training for Youth (CATY) is intended for young people in Hong Kong who have the awareness and enthusiasm for addressing climate change and sustainability issues and want to take this to the international policy arena. The participatory training and experience-based learning is designed to equip participants to play a more effective role in international conferences, debates and multilateral process on climate and sustainability issues. A small group of outstanding students will be selected as youth delegates from Hong Kong to attend the COP26 Climate negotiations in November 2021 in Glasgow, UK.
