The valued role of Camp Wildcraft ‘s GITs is to help our camp realize its mission of
“Growing creative, curious, confident & caring kids who feel at home in nature.”
Our Wildcraft Guide-in-Training Program provides opportunities for students entering grades 9 through 12 to volunteer at camp and receive community service credit if eligible.
Summer Camp takes place at two locations:
MUSE Global School in Calabasas, 1666 Las Virgenes Canyon Rd
The Sycamore School in Malibu, 3504 Las Flores Canyon Rd, off PCH near Dukes restaurant
Our GITs are volunteers who support our team-- and have a great experience by: •
Bringing their strengths, interests and skills and leading activities with support from our Team.
•
Being a caring and attentive friend and guide for our Wildcrafters ages 4 and up.
• Having fun, and learning new things themselves, by participating in all of our art and nature activities.
• Receiving 35 hours of community service credit, if needed, each week.
What we expect:•
GITs commit to a minimum of two sessions of camp. There are 9 weeks of camp.

GITS practice good communication with the staff team
GITs whole-heartedly participate in all activities
