The Second Round Hardship Fund  Application (CLOSED)
The Hardship Fund, composed of donations collected by GWC and allies, will be administered by a Hardship Committee of Columbia Graduate Workers in the event that Columbia docks pay. Note that the Hardship Fund is distinct from the UAW Strike Assistance Fund ($275/week) from UAW and is distributed on a need basis. We understand that many student workers have been experiencing financial hardship even prior to the strike, but the hardship fund is designed primarily to alleviate the hardship that is a direct result of Columbia docking the semi-monthly payment and potentially re-debiting the stipend. Therefore, the committee will prioritize the financial needs accrued from striking. Your personal information will not be shared beyond the Hardship Committee.
