Shriners Nordic Ski Day - Feb 4th, 2023 @ Hyland Park, Bloomington, MN 

We are looking for volunteers to ski with kids from Shriner's Hospital limb deficiency group on Saturday, February 4th from 9AM to 12PM 

 Kids, mostly from the limb deficiency group, (kids born w/o a lower arm or similar), and gives them all an opportunity to get out on cross country skis. These kids rip around and have a blast on skis using just one pole or no poles, and potentially a few skiing in a sit ski!  As a volunteer,  help  skiing & playing with kids on skis is all that is needed. We'll try to do a sprint relay at the end of the session.
Please note below if you need a pass for Three Rivers for the day. Plan to be on skis, skate or classic, whichever you are more comfortable with. Most kids will classic. (Note a few volunteers may be best suited to be on foot as well, depending on the group.)

Volunteers please arrive by 8:45AM to connect before the kids arrive/start- All kids will get set up with rental gear and then head out for a fun time on skis.
