The San Francisco Environment Department is offering e-bikes for 30 app-based delivery workers as part of a pilot program to study the benefits of e-bike delivery on worker income, safety, and delivery efficiency. Participating delivery workers will get no-cost access to an e-bike for four months, along with safety training and ongoing support, and in exchange for helping the City collect data on what it's like delivering via e-bike. Participants who complete the four month pilot get to keep the e-bike!

Please note that space in the pilot is limited - if the pilot is oversubscribed, priority will be provided based on demonstrated financial need.
