St. Mary Catholic Church Mardi Gras Festival:  Walkabout Beads, Treats and Float Parade  (think Mardi Gras themed Trunk or Treat!) 
What is a Mardi Gras Walkabout Beads, Treats and Float Parade you might ask? It is like a Trunk or Treat, but Mardi Gras themed! Come decorate your trunk like a Mardi Gras float! Have fun handing out beads and candy to kiddos at a family-friendly and safe Mardi Gras Festival! This is the form you need to sign up for it! 

Thank you for your interest in participating in St. Mary Catholic Church's 1st Annual Walkabout Parade!

WHO will participate: Children of all ages

WHAT do you need to do: Decorate the inside of your trunk based on a Mardi Gras float theme that can be funny, inspiring, religious, etc. Stand outside your trunk, greet those children and give them candy as you would if you were handing out candy and prizes from a float in a Mardi Gras Parade!!

WHEN: Saturday, February 18, 3-5 pm

WHERE: St. Mary Catholic Church
1136 Seminole Dr, Rockledge, FL 32955
(Located in the back parking lot of St. Mary Catholic School- between the Parish Hall and school)

WHY: To provide a safe environment for all the kids to enjoy Mardi Gras without the potentially inappropriate behavior at other Mardi Gras Events!

This Walkabout Float Parade is FREE to participate in. It is available to the FIRST 25 cars ONLY! All people who are decorating their car must supply their own treats/candy/beads, at least 1,000 pieces. You may come as early as 1 pm to set-up, but you MUST arrive NO LATER than 2 p.m. for our children's safety of moving cars. Please try your best to have your trunk ready to go by 2:30pm.

When you arrive, please park in the directed spot and please check in at the canopy. There you will be given a Float Number that you will hang on your trunk, so Parade Walkers can vote for their favorite Float(s) as they leave the Walkabout Parade area. PRIZES will be awarded to the trunk floats that gets the most votes by those participating.

The winner(s) will be announced around 5:30 pm at the Mardi Gras Event. You MUST be present to win.
