Register for Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground is an Episcopal Church program, which uses documentary films and readings to encourage learning and conversation about race. The 10 sessions explore Indigenous, Black, Latino and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories. Both the Thursday and Monday groups are open to new participants.

Our Deconstructing Racism Team encourages everyone to join the conversation as we seek to become beloved community. More than a teaching tool, Sacred Ground aims to call us from our small worlds and small screens into intentional, sustained circles in which we can pray, watch, share our own stories, reflect, wonder, reckon, heal, and commit to action. Think of it as a pilgrimage in place. Resources for Sacred Ground are available on the St. Luke’s website and participants are encouraged to watch and read as many resources as possible before each session.
