Decision Point Lesson 8 Turn In
There are two kinds of questions in these Turn Ins. There are two kinds of questions. Accountability Questions have right and wrong answers. Feel free to use your workbook or the videos themselves to help you answer these. Reflection Questions do not have right or wrong answers; they ask you to apply the ideas to your life and have the courage to share yourself with me. Please spend a few moments considering these and provide meaningful answers, not brief surface level ones.

1. Reflection Question: In the introductory video, The Next Right Thing, Matthew Kelly recounts the most crucial moment in the movie Willy Wonka in which Charlie does the right thing. As the father of three daughters, I've watched Frozen 2 a few times now! The phrase The Next Right Thing is used explicitly in that film; Princess Anna doesn't know how anything is going to turn out but reminds herself to do the next right thing. I've found this idea very helpful when I'm overwhelmed or unsure. How about you? Can you relate to this idea? Ever used it? Share about it if you have. If you haven't, how might you do so in the future? *
2. Reflection Question: Who or what inspires you? In other words, when you consider how you spend your time, who or what moves you to do something? Why? Have you ever considered why? Is so, share your thoughts. If not, do so now and share your initial reaction. *
3. Accountability Question: To what does Matthew Kelly compare the Mystery of the Trinity? *
4. Accountability Question: When talking about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Matthew Kelly tells a story from his childhood. What happened in the story? (Give a brief summary, no need to tell the whole thing!) *
5. Reflection Question: Which Gift of the Holy Spirit do you find the most difficult to either understand or to embrace and why? *
6. Accountability Question: Matthew Kelly identifies 3 actions that we refer to as promptings of the Holy Spirit. What are they? (3 words will suffice!) *
7. Reflection Question: Who do you turn to for guidance? Whose advice do you seek when not sure what to do about something? Why them? *
8. Reflection Question: Have you ever asked the Holy Spirit to guide you? Why or why not? If so, how did it go? *
