You only need to sign-up if you would like to host a trunk with us this year on Friday, October 29th from 6:00-7:30PM.  You DO NOT need to sign-up to just bring your kids to St. Matthew's Trunk or Treat Event.  

St. Matthew will have 20-25+ trunks it will be hosting as always.  This year we would like to offer up to an additional 20 spots for our neighbors to host their own themed trunks to distribute candy.  There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best Trunk prizes.

The following is what is needed on your part to host a trunk.  We ask St. Matthew members who host trunks to abide by the same guidelines.  

1) You will need to buy 300-350 individual wrapped pieces of candy for distribution and have at least one person to stand at your trunk to hand out candy.

2) You will need a trunk theme that is not gory/bloody or overly dark/evil (remember these are preschoolers - 5th graders and we are a church not a haunted house operation for those high school age or adults).  

3) We ask for trunk themes that are not politically charged or interest group driven. This is nothing wrong with politics or interest groups, but our event is just meant to be a fun event for our neighborhood children and their families.

We plan to have a hotdog, chip, and drink  meal offered for all families who attend.  We also will offer cotton candy, popcorn, and perhaps a bounce house among other activities for families.  Thanks for considering hosting a trunk this year!  Looking forward to another beautiful day in our neighborhood!  Won't you be our neighbor?
