For REWIND's first event of the winter quarter, we'll feature filmmaker Susan Seidelman discussing her films and the comedy of Jewish assimilation, with a focus on her critically-acclaimed film, Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). Watch the film (starring Patricia Arquette and Madonna) alongside Joan Micklin Silver's Crossing Delancey (1988) then tune in for Seidelman's perspective and a chance for Q&A.
