The school and classes year is coming to an end, but we would like to end the semester with a bang! 😉
This year, our semester ending will last three days, and we plan to have parties, workshops, chilling by the sea, and all this because ... We are joining forces and initiatives with the Gdynia City Museum as part of the celebrations of "The Collision Of Freedom". This initiative is related to the fate of Swing dancers and Jazz/Swing artists in occupied Poland (1939-1945) but also in the Czech Republic and Germany during World War II. The event is a joint initiative of stages and institutions from the mentioned countries, and in connection with this we will host dancers from Bremen, Prague and other cities, not only in Poland... maybe also from yours? 😉

 WORKSHOP SCHEDULE 

SATURDAY (28.06): 

❤☀️11:00 - 12:00 -> Feel the beat - classes for both solo and couples 

❤☀️12:15 - 14:15 -> Lindy hop classes (intermediate level and higher) 

SUNDAY (29.06): 

❤☀️11:00 - 13:00 -> Slow lindy classes (intermediate level and higher) 

 Location: Latino Cafe, Cypriana Norwida 4c, Gdynia ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ 

 PRICES: 

- block of classes on Saturday (1h) -> 60 PLN / 15 EUR

- block of classes in couples on Sat or Sun (2h) -> 100 PLN / 25 EUR  

- block of classes 2h + 1h -> 140 PLN / 35 EUR 

- all couple classes on Sat and Sund (2+2) -> 180 PLN / 40 EUR 

- all classes (2+2+1) -> 220 PLN / 50 EUR

🥁🕺🤩 TOPICS AND LEVELS 🥁🕺🤩

❤☀️ Feel the beat - classes for every level, as long as you dance lindy hop. We will focus on feeling the beat, based on basic sounds of the drums (snare drum, hi-hat, ride). The exercises will be both solo and in couples - i.e. you can come without a partner 😉

❤☀️ Lindy - Do you like surprises and want to polish your lindy? Great! We invite everyone who feels ok in the basics and wants to go further. These are not classes for the beginners - you know what and how and feel comfortable with basic figures (swingouts, lindy circle, etc.) and charleston.

❤☀️ Slow Lindy - if you already know the basics of lindy hop and you want to make another step ... or you are an advanced dancer and want to develop your dancing skills, plus you are excited about going out of the box - that's great, because these classes will be the thing 🤩 Everyone will find something interesting, although you know... it won't be too easy 🔥🔥🔥

Rok szkolno-zajęciowy dobiega końca, ale chcielibyśmy zakończyć semestr z pompą! 😉
W tym roku nasze zakończenie semestru trwać będzie aż trzy dni, a w planacha imprezy, warsztaty, czill nad morzem, a to wszystko gdyż ... Łączymy nasze siły i inicjatywy z Muzeum Miasta Gdyni w ramach obchodów "The Collision Of Freedom". Inicjatywa ta związana jest z losem tancerek i tancerzy Swingowych oraz artystów Jazzowych/Swingowych w okupowanej Polsce (1939-1945) ale i w Czechach i w Niemczech ery II wojny światowej. Wydarzenie jest wspólną inicjatywą scen oraz instytucji ze wspomnianych krajów, a w związku z tym będziemy gościć tancerzy z Bremy, Pragi oraz innych miast, nie tylko w Polsce... może także z Twojego? 😉
