Thank you for your interest in contributing to the 10th issue of Faria Education Group’s admissions magazine International Admissions Bulletin!

The next issue's theme is “Admissions Criteria”, a hot topic which can be approached from many angles:

The Big Picture: How does your admissions criteria connect to your school's guiding statements? What kinds of students does your school want? Consider selectivity versus diversity, equity and inclusion, government regulations, demographic shifts, market trends, the influence of stakeholder groups or of culture and values.

The Process: What are the unique features or your school's application process and what is the reasoning behind it? You might consider aspects of the process such as timing, fees, documents, testing, interviews, references, student samples, and online vs in-person.

Selection and Waiting Lists: Who makes the admissions decisions? The school director? A division principal? A committee? The head of admissions? Does anyone have a veto over decisions? Are some decisions ¨political¨ or controversial? And what is your criteria for waiting lists?

Marketing and Communications: Are the marketing/communications teams on the same page as the admissions team? Does your school project an accurate image of the students you seek?

Get personal: We also welcome articles of an anecdotal,, personal nature. Perhaps you have had an experience that changed your view on admissions criteria. Tell us about it!
