Dear Springfield Public Schools Community Member:

While our disrict is continuing to navigate through the challenges presented by the pandemic, we are also aware that we have a unique opportunity to re-evaluate the values and language that we use to describe our learning community.  

In order to do this, the Board of Education is working with the Superintendent of Schools and district leadership to realign our mission statement and develop a vision for our future that is representative of the values of our community.
