The teams will be announced on Thursday 11/16 and practice will begin on 11/16
Time: 4:05 - 5:25 each day. Athletes need to be at the pool and ready for practice at 4:00 for stretching.
Event Address: PWCS Aquatic Center, Colgan High School
Contact: Coach Baker at bakeram@pwcs.edu

IMPORTANT: All divers trying out will need to report to tryouts on Tuesday, 11/7. You will dive on Tuesday if you meet the following criteria:
1) You competed last year in a dual (6 dive meet) or championship (11 dive meet)
2) You have dive experience and can perform 5 or more dives from 4 of the dive categories (forward, back, twist, inward, or reverse)

This will be an observation day for all new or returning divers that do not meet the above criteria.

Wednesday 11/8 through Wednesday 11/15 will be reserved for any diver that does not meet the criteria to dive on Tuesday, to learn as much as they can.

We will be accepting no more than 5 boys and 5 girls per school this year.  If a diver is selected for the team, this is not a guarantee that they will dive in a meet or dive in every meet. Each school is allowed 4 entries per meet. Not every diver will meet the criteria to dive in every meet but I would like for the swim coaches to have flexibility with their entries.

In order to be considered for the team, you will need to learn 5 dives from 4 categories. Selections will be considered based on what each diver is able to perform, how many are trying out for each individual school.

All divers will be assigned to two practice days per week

What kind of diving experience do you have? *
If I make the team, I am available to practice on the following days, Monday through Thursday. *
Is there any additional information you would like to make me aware of, with regard to tryouts?
I have spoken to and introduced myself to my school swim coach, I have met all criteria, and I have blue card completed and I am ready for tryouts. (Please read information below, carefully, before answering) *
All divers MUST bring their completed blue card on the first day of tryout and complete all school athletic requirements prior to tryouts. (DO NOT TURN IN YOUR BLUE CARD TO YOUR SWIM COACH! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY CARD AND DIVE COACHES MUST HAVE A COPY IN HAND AT ALL TIMES. IF YOU ARE SWIMMING AND DIVING, YOU WILL NEED TWO BLUE CARDS. ONE FOR YOUR SWIM COACH AND ONE FOR YOUR DIVE COACH. Swim coaches will confirm that all requirements have been met and communicate this to the dive coaches prior to tryouts. If you have questions regarding school athletic requirements with regard to physicals, concussion training, etc., please speak with your school swim coach. Swim coaches will need to confirm all athletes eligibility prior to tryouts, no exceptions! No divers will be allowed on the boards without completion of this step.
