Grassroots: The Western Music Society of Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi presents The DU WMS Showcase - where Western Music Societies from across the Delhi colleges will come together on a single platform and showcase the talent of their members.
The entire past session of 2020-21 had to be conducted online amidst the pandemic. With no physical competitions, fests or performances, the new talent in each of the Music Societies haven't had the opportunity to grow and showcase their talent to the entire circuit. It has taken multiple fests and years for all the societies to get to know about each other.
When the batch of ’22 graduates, many of the connections between several societies might be severed mostly due to the lack of a proper fest season.
The DU WMS SHOWCASE is an attempt by Grassroots, for all of the societies to come together on a single platform for an event where each of the societies will perform one by one and showcase the talent of their members.
1. Societies that have already confirmed their presence should register all of their members as participants.
2. If you're not part of a music society, are from a non-music background, or are an alumni of any music society, you can register as an attendee and watch other societies perform.
