COVID-19 Policy Hackathon:                              Mentor Interest Form
The COVID-19 Policy Hackathon (covid19policyhackathon.com), directed by undergraduate organizations at Stanford and MIT, is currently seeking mentors for its upcoming event on the weekend of June 13-14. The hackathon is an opportunity for individuals to tackle the numerous economic consequences arising from the COVID-19 crisis. Participants will collaborate in teams to analyze and incorporate relevant data, receive guidance from leading academics and experts in the field, and draft potentially impactful policy memos pertinent to one of four thematic tracks: healthcare policy, travel and immigration, markets and financial policy, and global trade.

We are inviting leading professionals, academics, and government-affiliates to join our mentorship network. Mentors will have the opportunity to fulfill their choice of four positions:

1) On-Call Mentors will host at least one “office hour” for participants to ask pertinent questions and garner advice on their policy direction.
2) Speakers will host a webinar for maximum one hour covering topics related to their specialized perspectives on different aspects of the COVID-19 crisis.
3) Judges will select the winning policy proposals from each track.

Following the hackathon, willing mentors from each track will help disseminate our winning policy proposals to active policymakers.

The time commitment can be as much as mentors are willing to give to help us inspire and guide our participants. If you would consider serving as a mentor, please complete the Mentor Interest Form.
