Athletic Hall of Fame
Notre Dame Regional High School Athletic Hall of Fame Award strives to preserve the heritage and tradition of excellence in the athletic programs at Notre Dame. Each year we will recognize male and female athletes and coaches from St. Mary’s High School, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame, and Notre Dame Regional High School who have made a significant contribution to these athletic programs. Through this award, we are in search of outstanding athletes who exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship and have brought honor and distinction to Bulldog Athletics.

Criteria
All candidates must be nominated by written application. Candidates must be eligible in the following categories:
  • The nominee, if an ATHLETE, becomes eligible ten years after graduating high school and must have lettered at least twice in the same sport.
  • The nominee, if a COACH, must have coached at least ten years in the Bulldog athletic program and must have made an outstanding contribution to the athletic program during his/her tenure.
  • The nominee, if a TEAM, becomes eligible ten years after their State Championship.
  • The nominee must be of sound character at the time of induction.
  • The nominee must have been exemplary in their accomplishments during their time as an athlete or coach.
  • The nominee does not have to be living to be inducted.
Nomination Procedures and Deadlines
  • Completed nomination forms must be received by January 31.
  • Applications may also be completed online at www.notredamehighschool.org.
Selection Procedure
  • A committee will review the nomination forms and will send a ballot to current Hall of Fame members.
  • Selection will be based on criteria, ballot results from current Hall of Fame members, and with the judgment of the selection committee.
