If so, join our Responder for Resilience training programmeĀ (worth $500+)Ā to acquire various skills and be deployed for various volunteering opportunities as a First Aider or an ElderAid volunteer with the Singapore Red Cross Society (SRC). You can do your part to build a resilient community!

šŸ’”Ā About this training programme

This training programme focuses on strengthening the Singapore Red Crossā€™ role in meeting the humanitarian needs in the community both in Singapore and abroad to support the transformative initiative,Ā One Billion Coalition, by the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC). The objectives include the following:

  • Building an organisation that is ā€œ Making A National Impact - Being of Global and Regional Significanceā€

  • Building ONE Strong National Society - Strengthening the Foundation Departments

  • Building Resilient Communities in Singapore and Beyond through meaningful, relevant, dynamic programmes

šŸ“•Ā What can you expect?

TheĀ two-weekendĀ programmeĀ isĀ consist of the followingĀ courses*:

  1. Standard First Aid + AED (2 days)

  2. Psychological First Aid (1 day)

  3. Befriending (1 day)

*These courses include a nominal fee ($50) which isĀ refundable upon completion of all three courses.

Upon completion, you will be able to:
  • Be certified as a First Aider to perform life saving skills
  • Provide psychological support to uplift and support affected personsĀ 
  • Demonstrate befriending skills and develop ethnical befriending relationship with beneficiaries

  • Minimum 16 years old and above
  • Must attend all three (3) courses to complete this programme
IMPORTANT:Ā Screening is required, and only shortlisted applicants who have successfully made payment will receive a confirmation email.Ā
