To celebrate International Women's Day, 500 Women Scientists Pods are invited to participate in a global Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to increase representation for women in STEM on Wikipedia and celebrate their achievements. While International Women's Day is March 8th, Edit-a-thons can run any time during that weekend.

If you are a first-time editor or this is the first Wiki-thon you're hosting, have no fear! The UCSD Library and Salk Institute are running a Wiki-thon on March 7th and will be webcasting both a keynote lecture by Leadership Member Maryam Zaringhalam and a tutorial led by a Wikipedian. You can also contact a Wikipedian in your area for support.
