Reviewers are an essential part of the Advocate team and play a fundamental role in enabling people to get access to justice through Advocate. Reviewers assess for the rest of the Bar all the cases that Advocate process and ensure that the right cases are put forward for pro bono assistance.  Our reviewers safeguard people’s incredibly valuable and limited time and confirm that we are only looking for pro bono help for deserving cases.  

To be a Reviewer you must have regularly practised as a barrister in the last 2 years and for at least seven of the last ten years. Reviewers must be at least seven years call. 

This registration form will be checked by our lead reviewers (Advocate trustees). We will then be in touch to arrange a short training session.
