We need your help! Gorgeous Series needs volunteers to help ensure a smooth race experience for their 2020 Gorgeous Hood to Hood Relay on Sunday, June 14, a one-day team running event. The Mazamas will receive a $100 donation for every volunteer who helps with the race. All donations will support the Mazama Mountain Science School, providing an outdoor learning opportunity for 4th-6th grade students at the base of Mt. Hood.

Volunteers will be out on course helping to direct runners. The course begins at Timberline Lodge and takes teams on roads around the mountain, through the pines and over the rivers, up Cooper Spur Rd and down through the orchards into downtown Hood River to Waterfront Park on the banks of the mighty Columbia River!

Race volunteers generally have at least as much fun as the runners, and volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend the celebration at the finish line, and enjoy a Pfriem beer on the house.

Volunteers must be able to sign up for their shift and sign the waiver on-line. You will be notified when sign-up opens so you can chose your time and location. (Though times/locations can't be guaranteed.)
