For decades here at the UofR, students have had various interactions with DPS officers in which they have been harassed, profiled, and/or humiliated throughout the interaction. Additionally, DPS officers are usually dispatched to mental health calls, during which they quite often never serve a purpose and work against the comfort of the student. As the Abolition Coalition looks to hold DPS and the University accountable, we ask you to share your interactions with DPS. Your submission can be anonymous as well. Thanks Everyone!
