Animazement is an all-volunteer, fan-based cultural event in Raleigh, NC which focuses on Japan. Each year Animazement grows with more attendees and more activities and we are dependent on amazing, dedicated people willing to commit their time and talents. We appreciate your interest in helping!
This form provides us with information about our volunteers and is not an application. There is no "approval" of volunteers, you are welcome to drop in to volunteer at any time at the con and provide this information in-person. Providing your information ahead of time speeds up the volunteer check-in process.
Please keep in mind that work is done on a voluntary basis and that there is no financial compensation for work done prior to, or during the actual convention. We do aim to provide perks as thank yous after you have volunteered for some hours. For more details visit our website.

The health and safety of our attendees, guests, and staff is our top priority. We continue to work closely with our friends at the Raleigh Convention Center to ensure that Animazement will be a safe and fun environment for everyone!
For 2023, we will NOT require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry. However, we encourage all our attendees to take care of themselves and stay home if they are sick.
Masks will be encouraged, but not required. Again, if you think you may be sick, we encourage you to mask up.
We reserve the right to modify this policy should conditions change. Any changes will be posted to our website and social media.
