I (student and parent) agree to abide by the guidelines, policies, and procedures of the Spartan Connection Academy (SCA) and Bixby Public Schools. I understand that failure to meet these expectations may result from dismissal from SCA. I agree to: *

complete the designated amount of daily assignments recommended by Edgenuity. Students are encouraged to complete 7% of each course per week to stay on task.

follow the rules in the student handbook regarding discipline, academic honesty and plagiarism

provide a valid email and phone number to receive emails and text messages

check and respond to communication as needed (student 7-12) and parent)

do my own work as a BVS student and understand that I can be dismissed from BVS if I violate the cheating/plagiarism policy as defined by the Bixby Board of Education

understand that all finals will be taken in person on school sites as allowed.

understand failure to complete the course by the end of the semester/determined completion date with a passing grade results in a F on my transcript

understand successful completion of this program requires an internet connection away from school

understand that if I fall behind assigned work, BVS may make additional recommendations to finish the work in person

understand that I am to log on and complete work M-F. If I fail to complete work for 10 straight school days I can be dropped by Bixby Public Schools as allowed by the 10 day attendance drop policy.

4-6: Google Meet daily attendance is required, failure to attend Google Meets could result in placement back to in-person learning

9-12: I understand that courses assigned must be passed in order to maintain BPS graduation requirements

I agree that Bixby Public Schools may deem at any time virtual learning educationally inappropriate for a student and can refuse/revoke virtual learning privileges. This includes but is not limited too: failing grades, poor attendance, not meeting daily progress, etc.
