28.10, 12:00. Maarit Murka vestlus haridus- ja keskkonnapsühholoog Grete Arroga (Zoomi vahendusel)

Maarit Murka on valdavalt hüperrealistlikus stiilis töötav eesti kunstnik, kelle loomingus väljendub huvi nii inimpsühholoogia ja alateadvuse kui ka tähendusloome, võimusuhete ja poliitiliste reaalsuste vastu. Tartu Kunstimaja näitusel eksponeerib Murka valikut viimastel aastatel valminud teostest, mis peegeldavad inimese kui märklaua seisundit ning sellega kaasnevaid hirme ja vastuolusid.

Grete Arro (PhD psühholoogias) töötab hariduspsühholoogia teadurina Tallinna Ülikooli Haridusteaduste instituudis. Uurija ja õppejõuna huvitavad teda erinevad õppimisega seotud teemad: nii mälu, täidesaatvate funktsioonide ja mõtlemise arengu kui ka emotsioonide regulatsiooni ja motivatsiooniga seotu. Pidevalt üllatavad uued teadmised kinnitavad ja julgustavad aina enam, et teadusel on nii mõndagi õpetajat ja õppijat praktiliselt toetavat öelda.

28.10, 12 PM. Maarit Murka’s conversation with education and environmental psychologist Grete Arro (via Zoom)

Maarit Murka is an Estonian artist who works primarily in the hyperrealist style. Murka’s works express her interest in psychology and the subconscious, as well as meaning-making, power relations and political realities. In the Tartu Art House exhibition, the artist exhibits a selection of works from recent years that visualise the fears and contradictions of people as targets in today’s society. The artist’s conversation partners in the accompanying programme are specialists from the field of psychology.

Grete Arro (PhD in Psychology) works as a researcher of educational psychology at the Tallinn University School of Educational Sciences. As a researcher and lecturer, she is interested in various topics related to learning: memory, executive functions and the development of thinking as well as the regulation of emotions and motivation. The continuous revelations of new knowledge confirm and encourage her belief that science provides a lot of practical support to the teacher and the student.
