Description:
Associate Senators help to serve the Student Body by serving on at least one committee. Our Standing Committees are Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Environmental Affairs, Diversity, Health, Wellness and Safety, and External Affairs. We also have a Purple Friday Secondary Committee. On the committee they will work on projects and policy related to their committee's mission which will help improve Truman.
Requirements:
- Attend weekly committee meetings at a time determined by the committee membership each semesters
- Attend additional events put on by their committee/ required by the President
- Be a full time student at Truman with at least a 2.75 GPA
- Set up an interview with Kennedy and Esther (we will send you an email)
