LOUD WOMEN events provide a showcase for female and non-binary alternative bands and artists in the grassroots/DIY music scene. They are a safe space for new artists to perform and hone their craft, a cool spot for movers and shakers to find the new big name, and a fun time for our excellent audiences.

Applications for bands to play are open, via the form below. Please check out our previous events to get a feel for the kind of music we like, and then read the following before applying:
* Applications are welcome from alternative/punk/indiepop bands powered by women or non-binary artists.
* No all-cis-male bands thanks.
* POC and queer artists are prioritised. Our organisation is founded on the principles of intersectional feminism.
* DIY bands and artists are prioritised. No enquiries from booking agents thanks.
* We like to work closely with bands who share our ethos of community and scene-building. This includes taking an active role in promoting the gig, social media support etc. and not booking conflicting gigs near ours. When bands get on board with this ethos, we tend to work with them again and again, and remember them when we're asked for recommendations.

All acts are paid, at a rate commensurate with small DIY events (usually higher than other London promoters, as we are not run for profit). * We totally appreciate that applying for gigs takes time and energy and it can be disheartening not to hear any response back, so we will try our best to get back to everyone who applies. We are staffed by volunteers however and we do not always have as much time as we would like.
* If we listen to your music and it's just not right for what we're looking for, that's about us not about you. Please don't ask us to give you feedback on your music (only you can judge it anyway, right? Right.)
