AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF WAIVER


I hereby agree to the following:


1. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved in practicing yoga and yoga-related modalities. I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against the Alongside Trauma parties for any illnesses, injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of my participation.

2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in group or private yoga classes. 

3. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition(s) that would prevent my participation in group or private yoga classes, workshops and retreats offered by Alongside Trauma. I will update Alongside Trauma as to any changes in my medical condition.

4. Alongside Trauma Cannabis Yoga classes are for participants 19 years of age or older who also reside in a place where cannabis use is legal. By participating in cannabis yoga, you understand and acknowledge that both yoga and cannabis may carry the risk of injury or illness.

5. In further consideration of my participation in classes offered by Alongside Trauma, I hereby release the Alongside Trauma parties from any and all liability related to any loss, theft or damage of any of my personal property from Alongside Trauma classes. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, I knowingly and voluntarily, and freely assume liability for all risks, both known and unknown, of participating in cannabis yoga even if the risk is due to the negligence on the part of the instructor or Alongside Trauma.

6. I agree that this Agreement of Release and Waiver shall be governed by the laws of Ontario and if any conflict arises between me and Alongside Trauma, I will attempt to resolve the conflict in good faith through mediation before submitting my dispute to binding arbitration.

7. I acknowledge that Alongside Trauma is independently owned and operated by Jessica del Rosso.

I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents and voluntarily agree to all of the terms and conditions.
