We'd love to get to know you a bit better! Please tell us your Jewish story (whatever that might be!). *
Israel: Home & Homeland does not require any specific knowledge of Israel or experience being in the country, but it does require being able to try to relate to Israel and to use Israel as a lens to ask big questions about yourself. (E.g., we may ask something like, "How do you feel when you see Israel in the news?") No matter your knowledge level or past experience, do you feel as though you can relate to Israel and use it as this lens for discovery? *
Any comments on your response to the above question?
Israel can be a charged topic and discussion around it can involved differing opinions and heated debate. Do you agree to bring an open mind to our conversations, to acknowledge that there are many valid viewpoints when it comes to learning about and discussing Israel, and to do your best to understand and empathize with your peers--even when you disagree? *
What is one question (Jewish, Israel-based, or otherwise) that you currently have on your mind? (We may or may not answer it, but we're curious to know what's on your mind!) *
Have you participated in a Birthright free trip to Israel? (Note that this does not affect your registration!) *
Required
Have you participated in any other Israel trip or program? (Note that this does not affect your registration!)
Which, if any of these, have you participated in previously? Please check all that apply. (Note that this does not affect your registration!)
How did you hear about JLF? *

Please indicate any dietary restrictions? (e.g. gluten free, kosher, etc.) *Applicable only if/when the university lifts its food restrictions. *
JLF Israel: Home & Homeland is currently scheduled for Thursday evenings from 6:45-8:00 (starting at 6:30 when we can serve food). While this is unlikely to change, we very occasionally rearrange the schedule to meet more students' needs. Please mark your general availability here:

Is there anything we need to know about the schedule above? (E.g. you could arrive 5 minutes late to Wednesdays at 7:30, Tuesdays are doable but not ideal, etc.) *
Thursday, April 21 is the seventh night of Passover and is a holiday (chag), which means that some Jews do not work on that evening (including writing). Do you observe the holiday in such a way that you could not participate in JLF that evening (in which case we will reschedule), or would you be able to meet for JLF? *
Who else might want to join Israel: Home & Homeland this semester? List their names here (and if you really want them to join, please invite them!): *
In addition to occasional emails from the JLF team, would you be interested in receiving emails about future Jewish opportunities for young adults from Hillel's funders? *
Did someone recommend you for this fellowship? Write their name here (first and last):
