The Alaska State Council on the Arts was shutdown from July 15 - August 30, 2019. This may seem like a brief window, but in that time, the agency lost key staff and with them the momentum and capacity to continue programs. Rebuilding has been steady but slow and part of that rebuilding process is to gather information from the Alaska arts community.
The goal of this survey--sponsored by the Alaska Arts and Culture Foundation--is to learn more about what impacts the shutdown has had on Alaskans.
