PERVERSE publishes poems by digital newsletter which are “deliberate, obstinate, unreasonable or unacceptable, contrary to the expected practice”.
Visual poems are welcome. Translations are welcome, as long as you have the translated poet's permission (or their work is out of copyright). Anything you can think of is pretty much welcome. Just keep in mind the limitations of the newsletter format.
Poems should not have been previously published. Get a taste of the magazine by reading previous issues here:
https://perversepoetry.tumblr.com/issues.
Submissions will remain open until midnight BST on May 30th 2023. Submissions will be read in June, and all contributors will hopefully be replied to by email by the end of July.
Regretfully, there is no payment available. Rejections are unlikely to be personalised due to constraints of time, apologies.
I will look forward to reading your poems!
Chrissy
