IAEA’s 2024 book study course is based on The Secret Lives of Color by Kassia St. Clair. As many of our members are both educators and artists, IAEA selects books and activities to develop individual artistic practices, as well as to inspire young artists in the classroom.This is not your average book study!
Rather than a traditional book study, this course takes a more creative, interactive approach. IAEA’s book study includes a virtual opening session, five weeks of exploring art making techniques, a curriculum development component, activities designed around new ways to teach the elements of art and principles of design, and a virtual closing session. The book study also includes three virtual master classes and all the materials! Registration (includes book, materials, and access to live and recorded master classes)
