Dear friends and colleagues,
On Tuesday April 19, 2022, Atefeh Keshavarzi Zafarghandi will defend her dissertation `Abstract Dialectical Frameworks. Semantics, Discussion Games and Variations'.
The public defence takes place in the morning, 11:00, in the aula of the academy building of the University of Groningen.
In celebration of Atefeh's defence, there will be an academic workshop with various talks on the study of argumentation, using various backgrounds and approaches (14:00-17:00).
After the defence reception (in the academy building) and before the workshop, an informal lunch will be available (served at the workshop location around 13:15).
The workshop will be chaired by Rineke Verbrugge (University of Groningen).

The workshop takes place in the old courtroom of the former court, now in the building of the University of Groningen's Faculty of Theology: Oude Boteringestraat 38 in Groningen. This is just a few minutes' walk from the location of the defence.
