Application Requirements:
Completed Ambassador Applications are due September 25. You will be contacted to set up an interview during the first part of October.
Must be at least 7th grade and currently enrolled in the 4-H program.
Expectations of Rice County 4-H Ambassadors
Completed ambassador applications are due September 25 and interviews will be done by the November meeting. Term runs from October 1 – September 30.
Must be at least 7th grade and enrolled in 4-H for 2023-2024.
Attend as many meetings and activities as you can that are planned by ambassadors.
As a youth leader, here are some additional ways to become involved:
Attend at least one federation meeting
Serve on a PDC or standing committee
Attend as many leadership opportunities as you can which may include Emcee at Family Banquet, Regional Officer Training, Regional Ambassador Training, BLU, Share the Fun (skits between club acts, emcees, greeters, etc.), YELLO, CWF or other National 4-H event, 4-H camp counselor, 4-H day camp counselor, lead a project workshop, lead their club in a project activity, community youth fair, be a part of the 4-H unit in parades, work at least one livestock/dog show for fair, etc.
Help with 4-H adventures/4-H afterschool and cloverbuds as available.
County Fair – expected to assist with chosen activities of group
Encouraged to exhibit in Citizenship or Leadership
