TKU College Access Program Spring 2021
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The TKU College Access Program provides a supportive environment for neurodiverse students to explore college options and build college readiness skills. This program is designed for students aged 14-21. Topics to be discussed include: college experience expectations, identity development, social skills, and self-advocacy. Program content will be influenced by needs, interests, and concerns expressed by students.

Please note that because disability and self-advocacy will be openly discussed, applicants should have an awareness of their specific strengths and challenges.

The program will meet virtually via Zoom select Thursday afternoons.

There is a $150 fee for this program to be paid at the time of acceptance. Need-based financial aid is available.

ELIGIBILITY:

Participants must:
-Be between 14-21 years old
-Complete and submit this application
-Have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) or a 504 plan. If you do not have an IEP or 504 plan, please indicate your eligibility in the final question on this application.

All student sessions are Thursdays, 4:30 - 6:00PM

-Parent & Caregiver Talk: College Financial Planning
Tuesday, March 9th, 5:30 - 6:45pm
(students are welcome, but not required to attend)
